We pride ourselves on having an adult gaming community in which we practice an operational and organizational tempo that far exceeds other online gaming groups.
Although SG revolves its membership around massively multiplayer games like PS2, Eve Online, and World of Warcraft, we are also active in some of the smaller team
oriented games such as League of Legends, Mechwarrior Online, and have a strong presence in World of Tanks. No matter where you are located in the world or your gaming experience, if you are a mature adult gamer that values

Planetside 2
We're busy playing Planetside 2 (along with the many other games we play together). Right now we're having a blast and have several hundred members, new and old, enjoying the game and appreciating the finer points of playing a game like PS2 with discipline as a well-coordinated, organized fighting force!
Sturmgrenadier are now heavily playing the beta of PS2. More on that later, but for now, here's a video of Matt Higby wearing a T-Shirt we sent him a few weeks ago:

As we look ahead with the beta for Mists of Pandaria on the horizon, it's a good time to recap what the World of Warcraft portal has accomplished in the past few months.
With the arrival of the last major content patch, Blizzard implemented a new raid instance (the final one for this expansion) Dragon Soul. It has brought everyone together
with the single purpose of defeating Deathwing and preventing the destruction of Azeroth.
Both of our ten man raid crews have now downed Deathwing and turned their attention towards Heroic raid content.
Our first 10man group is 3/8 hardmode and the other is currently 1/8.
If hardcore raiding is not your thing, Blizzard has also made the content extremely accessible through the Looking for Raid system. LFR is a tuned down 25man grouping
which allows everyone to experience raiding, as well as a shot at winning some purples! In addition to our regular raids, we have been running LFR once a week as a combined raid team and for
anyone else who would like to jump into the fun. So log in and come join the fun!

Ready for Star Wars: The Old Republic!
The release of Bioware's eagerly awaited new MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic is just around the corner and here in SG we're gearing up to play this promising new game, SG-Style!
Around 150 SG members have already pre-registered with Bioware for the in-game guild, and we expect many more to join us once the game is released. There's a lot of excitement around this game, and being a Star Wars game, many people have strong views about whether they play with the Empire or the Republic.
In light of this, we've taken the unusual step of fully supporting both sides when the game is launched. That means if you play with SG, you can choose to join either side and still play with the support of a well-structured, highly-organized guild.

World of Tanks becomes an official SG portal!
World of Tanks started life in SG as a game played in our Warzone Portal. Since the start of the WoT Clan Wars, the number of people playing World or Tanks in SG has grown and grown to the point where this hugely popular game has now become a dedicated portal! World of Tanks combines FPS elements with tactical team play that SG Warzone members have enjoyed since early beta. WoT's Clan Wars adds a strategic persistent world to WoT which changes a fun tank-shooting game into an epic strategic universe.
SG is for mature gamers that want to be part of a well organized team. SG utilizes good leadership, organization, and preparation to remain competitive in games, without having to compromise real life priorities. We're a friendly and experienced group who never take things too seriously but know how to get the job done.

World of Tanks rolls onto SG's Radar
We have been having so much fun in Rift, Eve, World of Warcraft, League of Legends, and in WoT Beta that World of Tanks Clan Wars snuck up on us and caused us to miss a whole month of posts! SG is going strong in WoT Clan Wars, taking territory (and holding it,) and even doing gold distribution to clan members who show up! Battlefield Bad Company 3 Coming Soon!
BFBC3 looks to be quite a bit of fun. We are averaging over 30 people on at a time in Rift, come join us! Also, our Eve portal and World of Warcraft portal are doing great.

We are anxiously awaiting the WoW expansion that will be taking up much of our time in the very near future. We also are looking at Bloodline Champions for our Strategy Central area and are waiting on Diablo 3 to arrive. Lots of fun ahead!

The Old Republic - Empire and Republic both SG!
Sturmgrenadier is breaking new ground in the upcoming MMO The Old Republic by opening two portals for the game! That's right, we are going to play both sides. Why such a move? Because it is not shaping up to be a massive war game where having 500 people on one side will do you much good. Instead its looking like a PvE game where army mass is not an issue. Due to this, we are going to have hundreds of people on both sides and allow everyone to play what they want. We will be offering two command groups, one for each side, to ensure smooth coordination and organization that is the cornerstone of being in SG. We look forward to the challenge and hope you join us!
SG had it's first League of Legends tournament last week. Congratulations to the participants and to the winning team! We gave away two ribbons for the league. Be sure to get involved in the next one.

New Strategy Central Portal!
SG has expanded to include RTS and TBS games and have started with official groups for both League of Legends and StarCraft 2. We are practicing for the upcoming League of Legends official tournament and also have our own 3v3 tournament coming in July. Come join us to start a team or join one as a member!

League of Legends
SG is busy with it's "regular" games but also has taken a liking to League of Legends. It's a FREE RTS game that is similar to Dota and Warcraft 3. There are about 30 SG playing so come join us! Friend Lostlogic and you should be good to go.
We completed out first round of matches in our own Internal Battlefield Bad Company 2 League this last weekend and had very close matches (not to mention one that lasted 3 hours!) We look forward to the squad death matches coming up this weekend. Stay tuned.
